This weeks recipe I wanted to share my absolute favorite recipe my mama used to make for me when I was younger… okay, and occasionally she still spoils me with it!
This simple recipe requires very few ingredients but boy does it pack a lot of flavor!
This dish consists of perfect tenderly cooked spare ribs drenched in a incredible tasty sweet and sour sauce that will surely have you going back for seconds!
The ingredients required for this recipe are staple items you most likely have in your home already making this the perfect dish to serve any day of the week!
Sweet & Sour Spare Ribs
Spare Ribs (Short Ribs)
Grease roasting or casserole dish with olive oil and place defrosted short ribs inside. sprinkle salt, pepper and garlic powder over top and mix well.
Place in oven and cook for 2.5 hrs and 400°F
In a small bowl mix together 1 can of tomato soup, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, vinegar, soy sauce and parsley.
In the last 30 minutes take ribs out, pour and mix sauce in well. Sprinkle more parsley if desired. Place ribs back in oven too cook for remainder of time.
Serve over rice or any desired side. Serve immediately
