Come As You Are

Happy Sunday Beautiful Readers!

This morning as I’m getting ready for church I had this verse in the back of my mind.
Jesus said ” Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

The past few weeks I feel as though I have been pushing myself to get everything on my to do list done, even though it’s been taking everything out of me. I’ve been trying so hard that I’ve been neglecting the one thing that should take priority over anything else in life, spending time with God.

Since becoming a mom the distractions around me are endless. I am constantly making lists in my mind, mentally checking items off or adding more ( which seems to happen more than the checking!)

I am reminded by these simple words ” come as you are.”

God isn’t worried about our to do lists, whether the house is cleaned before your honey comes home or if the laundry if finished. All he wants is you, no matter what state you are in. Stressed, frazzled or anxious. He wants Y O U.

I encourage anyone who is reading this to pause and simply give God a moment of your day and surrender. Whether you’re stuck in traffic, waiting in line at the grocery store or playing with your kids at the park. Let his love overflow you and give you rest!

Pray you all have a wonderful day and you feel Gods presence wherever you may go!
